So long, and thanks for all the fish

Philadelphia 76ers 105 Final
Recap | Box Score
95 Indiana Pacers
Thaddeus Young, SF 21 MIN | 5-7 FG | 0-0 FT | 8 REB | 0 AST | 3 STL | 0 BLK | 1 TO | 10 PTS | +14During the (relatively) little run he got, Thad delivered a typical performance: efficient, energetic, and effortful. He’a a very good basketball player who had a very, very good season. It’d be nice to see him play for a winner again before the thing that makes him special eventually fades.
Damien Wilkins, SG 36 MIN | 6-11 FG |

Pistons 109, Sixers 101: Different Bynum ruins Doug Collins’ night

Philadelphia 76ers 101 Final

Recap | Box Score

109 Detroit Pistons
Evan Turner, SF 29 MIN | 5-13 FG | 2-2 FT | 3 REB | 5 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK | 0 TO | 13 PTS | -8Every few games Evan Turner has to play against a fellow member of the 2010 draft class and he usually suffers for the comparison. It’s not often this bad though. While Turner blahed his way through 29 minutes of quintessentially blah Evan Turner play, Greg Monroe scored 27 on 14 shots and added 16 rebounds and 4 assists.

Sixers 91, Cavs 77: Cleveland (sucks) rocks!

Cleveland Cavaliers 77 FinalRecap | Box Score 91 Philadelphia 76ers
Thaddeus Young, SF 33 MIN | 5-11 FG | 4-6 FT | 9 REB | 4 AST | 3 STL | 0 BLK | 2 TO | 14 PTS | +22Thad Young, as he is more often than not, was very good. He scored 14 to go along with 9 rebounds, 4 assists, a trio of steals, and generally flew around the floor like a player blissfully unaware of the game’s importance (none) or his team’s playoff chances (nil).

Thaddeus Young, SF 25 MIN | 1-9 FG | 1-2 FT | 3 REB | 2 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK | 1 TO | 3 PTS | -12This was the worst basketball game I’ve seen Thaddeus Young play. In his last two games, he’s scored 12 points and retrieved 4 rebounds.
